We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
General QA Engineer
who can own the full testing lifecycle. This role is ideal for a strong junior or mid-level specialist who is comfortable working independently, collaborating with developers and product teams, and ensuring high product quality from requirements to release.
Responsibilities:
Perform full-cycle testing: from requirements analysis to release validation;
Design, write, and maintain test documentation (test cases, checklists, test plans);
Conduct manual testing of web and/or mobile applications;
Identify, document, and track bugs (e.g., using Jira or similar tools);
Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing;
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers;
Participate in grooming, planning, and sprint activities;
Validate requirements and provide early feedback on potential issues;
Support release processes and post-release verification.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in QA (or strong junior with solid practical experience);
Understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and software development lifecycle (SDLC);
Experience with manual testing of web applications (mobile is a plus);
Ability to write clear and structured test documentation;
Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, YouTrack, etc.);
Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman, Swagger, etc.);
Understanding of client-server architecture;
Basic SQL knowledge for data validation;
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams;
Good analytical thinking and attention to detail;
English level: Intermediate or higher (written and spoken).
Nice to Have:
Basic test automation knowledge (any language or framework);
Experience with browser dev tools;
Understanding of CI/CD processes;
Experience with version control systems (Git).
