Description
We are looking for a
Senior Platform Engineer
to join a large international B2B SaaS engineering environment and help build, improve, and modernize a cloud-native platform used by multiple R&D teams.
This role is focused on Kubernetes, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, GitOps, observability, and developer experience. You will work on platform capabilities that reduce developer cognitive load, improve reliability, and support scalable product engineering.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain internal platform engineering capabilities.
Work with Kubernetes-based infrastructure, primarily in cloud-native environments.
Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and infrastructure automation.
Support GitOps-based delivery models using tools such as ArgoCD or similar.
Help standardize platform services for engineering teams.
Improve observability, monitoring, tracing, and operational visibility.
Collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, SRE, and architecture teams.
Support modernization of legacy infrastructure and delivery processes.
Help reduce operational friction for developers and improve self-service capabilities.
Requirements
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of infrastructure automation and platform engineering practices.
Experience with GitOps, preferably ArgoCD or similar tools.
Experience with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, Datadog, or similar.
Good understanding of cloud-native architecture.
Experience working with distributed engineering teams.
Ability to operate independently at senior level.
Strong communication skills in English.
Nice to have
Experience with AKS / Azure Kubernetes Service.
Experience with Terraform, Helm, Crossplane, Pulumi, or similar tools.
Experience supporting large R&D organizations.
Background in SRE, DevOps, or internal developer platforms.
Experience modernizing legacy infrastructure.
