Project Overview
As a Senior Cloud Solution Architect, you will design and implement enterprise-grade cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on driving cloud adoption, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead architecture design and implementation of cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure
Define and drive cloud adoption strategies (Cloud Adoption Framework, Well-Architected Framework)
Design scalable, secure, and high-availability architectures
Work closely with infrastructure, DevOps, and development teams
Design hybrid cloud solutions (on-premises + cloud integration)
Implement networking architectures (hub-and-spoke, VPN, ExpressRoute, routing, DNS)
Ensure best practices in security, governance, and compliance
Contribute to CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code strategy
Requirements
Technical Skills
Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
6+ years of commercial experience
2+ years in Solution Architect (or similar) role
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, data services)
Proven experience designing enterprise cloud architectures
Experience with:
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM)
CI/CD pipelines and architecture
Hybrid cloud environments
Nice to Have
SAP experience
Kubernetes / Docker
Identity & access management
Data & AI tools (Fabric, Databricks, Foundry)
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and quality
Ability to work with complex distributed systems
Strong communication and presentation skills
Leadership and stakeholder management
Languages
English — required
German — strong plus
French / Italian / Spanish — nice to have
