Role
We are a Belgian company building a modular robotic pick-and-place platform for the food industry (cheese, meat, etc.).
We are hiring a medior all-round developer (4+ years) to work full-time (remote) on a robotics system combining vision, planning, and robot control.
What you’ll do
Develop modular robotics software (ROS2-based architecture)
Implement robot control and motion planning (e.g. MoveIt2)
Build simple, robust vision pipelines such as:
Object detection using point clouds (3D)
Frame differencing and motion detection
Basic filtering (no heavy AI required)
Contribute to real-time planning and task assignment
Work across multiple projects (not robotics only)
Implement small, lightweight front-end interface to support:
Camera and robot calibration
Basic system monitoring (status, logs, previews)
Simple operator controls
Integrate the UI with the robotics backend
4+ years software development experience
Strong C++
Understanding of:
Real-time systems
Modularity
Clean architecture
Basic computer vision (OpenCV or similar)
Some exposure to AI or ML (not core)
Basic front-end experience using JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern framework (React or similar)
