About the Role
We’re seeking a Business Analyst to ensure flawless delivery of features to our customers. You’ll work hands-on with development teams to execute the product roadmap defined by our CPO, maintain high quality standards, track team performance metrics, and ensure releases happen on schedule without delays.
This is an execution-focused role.
You’ll translate business requirements into technical specifications, manage the delivery process, minimize bugs and incidents, and ensure our customers receive high-quality features on time.
Role Type:
Business Analyst (Execution & Delivery focused)
Time Allocation:
Feature Delivery (50% of your time)
Manage product backlog for development teams, ensuring 2+ sprints are always groomed
Write detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria and edge cases
Conduct bi-weekly sprint planning and weekly backlog refinement sessions
Ensure 95%+ of releases ship on scheduled dates - no delays, no excuses
Remove blockers proactively to keep teams on track
Technical Documentation (20%)
Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRD) outlining business objectives and scope
Write comprehensive Product Requirements Documents (PRD) including:
Functional specifications and user flows
API specs, data models, integration requirements
Technical constraints and performance considerations
Acceptance criteria and test scenarios
Maintain clear documentation in Confluence for engineering and stakeholders
Quality & Incident Management (15%)
Drive bug reduction initiatives - target <3% bug escape rate
Manage P0/P1 incidents: triage within 30 minutes, resolve within 4 hours
Document post-mortems with root cause analysis and preventive actions
Track quality metrics: bug rates, regression issues, technical debt
Collaborate with QA on test coverage and automation priorities
Metrics & Reporting (15%)
Track team performance: velocity, cycle time, lead time, commitment accuracy
Build dashboards in Jira showing real-time delivery health
Present quarterly metrics to CPO showing delivery trends and quality improvements
Coordinate with stakeholders: Customer Success (weekly), Sales (bi-weekly), Support (weekly)

Remote (Europe/US time zones preferred for team overlap)
Must-Have Qualifications
Experience 3-5+ years as Business Analyst or Product Manager in B2B SaaS, cloud software, or CRM solutions
Proven track record of on-time delivery: Be ready to share specific metrics (e.g., “Achieved 95% on-time release rate over 12 months”)
BRD/PRD writing experience: At least 2 years writing technical specifications for engineering teams
Agile/Scrum mastery: 3+ years managing backlogs, writing user stories, leading sprint ceremonies
Quality focus: Experience reducing bug rates and managing incident response
Technical proficiency: Understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, CRM integrations, data models
Skills
Execution Excellence: Ability to drive features to completion on schedule, removing blockers proactively
Technical Documentation: Strong writing skills for BRD/PRD with clarity and detail
Analytical: Can track and present team performance metrics (velocity, cycle time, bug rates)
Quality Mindset: Obsessed with reducing bugs, improving processes, preventing incidents
Communication: Fluent English (C1/C2), able to explain requirements to technical and non-technical audiences
Prioritization: Can make quick trade-off decisions to keep releases on track
Incident Management: Experience triaging and coordinating response to production issues

Confluence: Documentation, BRD/PRD templates, knowledge management

Incident management training (ITIL, SRE practices)

Skills & Knowledge
SQL proficiency: Can write queries to analyze feature usage and performance
Scripting/automation: Python, JavaScript for data analysis or tooling
