Description
We are looking for a Payment Monitoring Specialist
to join our operations team. You will be the "eyes" of our platform, ensuring transaction stability, managing real-time alerts, and proactively restoring traffic to maintain high approval rates.
Working Schedule (2/2 Rotation)
12-hour shifts in a 2/2 rotation model:
10:00 – 22:00 (Kyiv time) — 2 days on / 2 days off.
This schedule is aligned with peak operational load and requires full focus during active hours.
What you’ll do
24/7 Operational Monitoring:
Track payment flows (pay-in/pay-out) in real-time to ensure seamless processing across the platform.
Alert Management:
Own the alert system—detect anomalies immediately and filter signals to identify critical issues.
Incident Management & Routing:
Handle the full incident lifecycle, including triage, routing, and troubleshooting of technical bottlenecks.
Traffic Recovery & Communication:
Notify providers (PSPs) and merchants of issues, monitor incident status, and take charge of restoring traffic flow.
Analytics & Reporting:
Analyze approval rates and failure patterns to provide structured reports and suggestions for routing optimization.
Who we’re looking for
Detail-oriented Analyst:
6+ months of experience in payment monitoring, FinTech, or operations.
Problem Solver:
You dig into the "why" behind every failed transaction and find the root cause.
Fast Reactor:
You stay calm under pressure and handle multiple incidents according to SLA.
Effective Communicator:
You can build professional relationships with external PSPs and internal dev teams.
Requirements & Skills
• Experience:
At least 6 months in a similar role within FinTech or E-commerce.
•
Domain Knowledge:
Understanding of payment flows, cascading, settlements, and card products.
•
Tools:
Practical experience with monitoring dashboards (
Grafana, Kibana
) and alert systems.
•
Languages:
*
English:
Intermediate (B1) or higher (for communication with international providers).
Ukrainian:
Fluent.
•
Soft Skills:
High responsibility, initiative, and the ability to work independently in a multitasking environment.
Bonus points if you:
Have a basic understanding of APIs
and system integrations.
Have experience with
SQL
or data analysis tools.
Have worked with multiple international payment providers.
