Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and extend event-driven cloud systems, including data pipelines and internal tools, ensuring reliability and smooth operation
Add features and improvements to internal platforms and services, including backend integrations with external systems
Investigate and resolve production issues across services and infrastructure
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices within the team
Must-Have Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in building and maintaining production systems
Strong programming skills in Python, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code
Solid experience with relational databases
Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture
Comfortable working in large, existing codebases and understanding complex systems quickly
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving, remote-first environment
Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and contribute to engineering decisions
At least upper-intermediate professional English
Nice-to-Have:
Experience working with computer vision or video processing pipelines
General understanding of the ML lifecycle, including annotation, model training, versioning, and deployment
Familiarity with annotation platforms such as CVAT or Label Studio
Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
Experience working in a startup or product-driven environment
