We're building out a
supplements
portfolio from the ground up — new products, new brands, new categories. We need someone who has done this before and knows exactly what it takes to launch a supplement on the
US market
and make it stick.
Argo Brands
is a US-based company operating four consumer brands. We sell across Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop, Walmart, Target, Kohl's and etc. We are now actively expanding our supplements and wellness portfolio and looking for an experienced
Product Manager
to own that growth.
This is not a support role. You will be the person responsible for defining what we build, how we build it, and when it goes to market.
The Role
You will own the full product lifecycle for our supplements line — from initial concept and market research through formulation, compliance, production, and launch. You will also take the lead on developing new supplement brands within our portfolio, identifying white space in the market and building product strategies around it.
This requires someone with deep hands-on experience in the US supplements or beauty industry who understands the regulatory environment, the supplier landscape, and what Amazon and Shopify shoppers in this category actually respond to.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a long-term product roadmap for the supplements and beauty category
Identify market gaps and white space opportunities through competitive research, customer data, and trend analysis
Define positioning, target audience, and differentiation strategy for new products and brands
Balance cost, formulation complexity, regulatory requirements, and market demand in product decisions
Lead the end-to-end development process: concept, formulation briefing, sample review, testing, compliance, and launch
Work with contract manufacturers and ingredient suppliers to develop and refine formulations
Manage timelines, sample iterations, and quality benchmarks across multiple concurrent SKUs
Collaborate with designers and packaging vendors to develop ready-for-market presentation
Ensure all products meet FDA, FTC, and platform-level requirements for supplements sold in the US
Manage product documentation: formulation specs, Supplement Facts panels, claims review, certifications, and labeling
Coordinate third-party testing and certification where required (NSF, Informed Sport, COAs, etc.)
Monitor product performance post-launch using Amazon reviews, customer service data, and return metrics
Identify quality issues early and work with suppliers to resolve them
Proactively improve existing products based on customer feedback and competitive shifts
Build and manage relationships with US and international contract manufacturers, co-packers, and ingredient suppliers
Evaluate suppliers on quality standards, certifications (GMP, cGMP), pricing, MOQs, and lead times
Negotiate terms and maintain vendor accountability throughout the production process
Analyze customer reviews, search trends, and purchase behavior to guide product development decisions
Track competitor launches, formulation changes, pricing, and positioning on an ongoing basis
Translate data into clear product briefs and strategic recommendations
Lead the creation of new supplement brands within the Argo Brands portfolio — from naming and positioning through launch
Define brand identity, product architecture, and go-to-market strategy in collaboration with the marketing team
Build scalable product lines, not one-off SKUs

Requirements

Proven track record of launching supplements or beauty products on the US market
Deep understanding of FDA regulations for dietary supplements, including labeling, claims, and GMP compliance
Experience working directly with contract manufacturers and ingredient suppliers
Strong project management skills — able to manage multiple product launches simultaneously
Analytical mindset — comfortable pulling and interpreting data from Amazon Seller Central, reviews, and third-party tools
Excellent English
Self-directed and accountable — you set your own priorities and follow through

Strong advantage:

Experience launching new brands from scratch, not just managing existing SKUs
Familiarity with beauty or personal care product development alongside supplements
Experience with Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar Amazon research tools
Background in formulation science, nutrition, or a related field
