Description
We are looking for a
Senior Backend Engineer with high agency
to take ownership of our backend services and drive their evolution. You will be working on building robust, scalable systems designed to handle
real-time, high-load workloads
(telephony, AI processing, and multiple integrations).
While Python is our core language, we also value engineers who are open to using TypeScript where it makes sense.
You will play a key role in scaling our current AWS-based infrastructure (ECS + Docker) and supporting our transition toward Kubernetes.

Your Responsibilities
Take full ownership of backend components and continuously improve them
Design and implement systems that can handle
high concurrency and real-time data flows
Build and maintain integrations with external services (AI providers, telecom systems, CRMs)
Work with asynchronous processing, queues, and distributed services
Ensure system stability, fault tolerance, and performance under нагрузкой
Contribute to infrastructure improvements and gradual migration to Kubernetes
Participate in architectural decisions and influence how the system evolves
Our Tech Stack
Languages:
Python as the main language, TypeScript for selected services
Infrastructure:
Containerized services using Docker, currently running on AWS ECS, moving toward Kubernetes
Storage:
Document-oriented database as the primary store, plus relational DB in AWS for structured data
Data flow & performance:
Message brokers for async processing and in-memory caching for performance-critical parts
Cloud ecosystem:
AWS services for networking, access management, monitoring, and deployments
Product domain:
Complex orchestration logic, AI-driven features (LLM, voice processing), and multiple third-party integrations
What We’re Looking For
Strong hands-on experience with Python backend development
Experience building systems that operate under
high load or in real-time environments
Understanding of distributed systems, async processing, and event-driven patterns
Practical experience with containers and cloud environments (AWS is a plus)
Familiarity with queues, background jobs, and caching strategies
Solid system design skills and ability to think in terms of scalability and reliability
High level of ownership and ability to drive technical decisions
Nice to have: experience with Kubernetes and/or TypeScript
