We are building a digital learning platform for maritime education and training.
Our goal is to create a modern digital university for maritime professionals, combining LMS, certifications, and real-world industry integration.
We are currently at an early stage and working with an Open edX vendor to build and customise the core platform.
As part of our long-term platform vision, we are planning future integration of Artificial Intelligence into learning, student support and educational workflows.
We are looking for an
AI Integration Engineer
to join our early-stage team.
What you’ll work on:
integration of AI services into the LMS platform
development of AI-powered assistants and learning tools
working with APIs of modern AI platforms and services
AI-supported search, recommendations and educational workflows
collaboration with backend, frontend and vendor teams
Tech stack / environment:
Python
REST APIs
experience working with AI APIs and integrations
SQL databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
cloud-based environment
What we’re looking for:
experience integrating AI services into applications or platforms
understanding of AI-assisted workflows and modern language model capabilities
ability to work with APIs, structured data and backend integrations
practical and product-oriented mindset
ability to work in an early-stage, evolving environment
Nice to have:
experience with educational platforms or learning products
understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) approaches
experience with vector databases or semantic search
