is looking for an experienced
Senior Frontend Engineer (React / Next.js)
to join our client’s project, which develops secure, standards-compliant digital health solutions that empower researchers and public health institutions to advance evidence-based medicine. The company builds scalable research infrastructures, supports international standards such as FHIR, OMOP, and CDISC, and collaborates with some of the world’s leading clinical institutions.
In this role, you will help build research-grade web applications used by clinicians, data scientists, and researchers working with real patient data at scale.
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of professional experience as a frontend, with strong production experience in React and Next.js.
Experience in the health tech domain is a must.
Deep fluency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on experience building accessible, semantic, and responsive UIs.
Proven experience with modern React patterns: hooks, server components, SSR/SSG/ISR, routing (App Router), state management, data fetching, and caching strategies.
Experience with frontend testing (unit, component, end-to-end — e.g., Jest, Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong focus on performance, accessibility (WCAG), security, and observability of frontend systems.
Comfortable consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs and collaborating closely with backend engineers on contracts.
Professional written and spoken English.
Your Responsibilities:
Design, build, and ship high-quality frontend features — writing accessible, performant, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Develop modern, server-rendered web applications using React and Next.js, with a strong focus on UX, performance, and component reusability.
Contribute to software design and architecture decisions, and take part in code reviews.
Work closely with designers, QA, backend engineers, and product management as part of an integrated team.
Engage directly with users — joining feedback sessions and user research to build a deep, end-to-end understanding of the product and the problems it solves.
Apply security and privacy by design — handling authorization flows and patient/study data with care and in line with GDPR/HIPAA expectations.
Help shape the frontend platform: design systems, component libraries, accessibility standards, and frontend tooling.
Will Be a Plus:
Experience with design systems (Storybook, Figma-driven workflows) and component libraries used across multiple products.
Familiarity with data-heavy interfaces: tables, dashboards, filters, charting (D3, Recharts, Visx, etc.).
Exposure to digital health, clinical research, or regulated environments.
Familiarity with healthcare data standards (FHIR, OMOP).
Some backend or BFF experience (Node.js, API routes) — useful when collaborating across the stack.
Experience working in a staff-augmentation or embedded-consultant model.
University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
