Senior Python Engineer (FinTech)

We are looking for a
Senior Python Engineer (Remote)
to join our engineering team and help build a modern financial technology platform used by businesses and consumers across the UK.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers and product leaders to develop scalable backend services, contribute to architectural decisions, and deliver reliable cloud-based solutions.

What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using
Python
and
Django
.
Build secure, scalable APIs and services for a high-traffic fintech platform.
Work closely with engineers, product teams, and technical leadership to deliver new features.
Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions, and sprint execution.
Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on
AWS
.
Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
Review code, share technical knowledge, and help maintain engineering best practices.

What We're Looking For
4+ years of professional Python development experience.
At least 1+ years building applications with Django.
Strong experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS.
Solid understanding of REST APIs, databases, and backend architecture.
Experience working in collaborative Agile teams.
Good communication skills with professional English (B2 or above).
Comfortable mentoring teammates and participating in code reviews.
