We are currently looking for a
Tech Lead/Architec
t to join a product-focused team based in Portugal (office-based role). This position is a great fit for someone with strong experience in building products from scratch, ideally within the gaming or iGaming industry.
In this role, you will take ownership of the technical vision and development of innovative products, working with modern technologies and applying an AI-first approach. It combines strategic architectural responsibilities with hands-on full-stack development, with a stronger emphasis on frontend.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and end-to-end development of gaming products from the ground up.
Define technical direction and establish engineering best practices.
Develop and maintain full-stack applications (frontend-focused).
Work with gaming platforms and related ecosystems.
Leverage AI/ML tools to enhance development processes and product capabilities.
Collaborate closely with product, business, and cross-functional teams.
Ensure scalability, performance, and code quality.
Explore and implement new technologies (including blockchain where relevant).
Requirements
Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Software Architect.
Background
in gaming or iGaming industry is required.
Strong full-stack expertise with a focus on frontend development.
Solid knowledge of TypeScript (preferred).
Experience building products from scratch (0→1).
Familiarity with AI/ML tools and modern development approaches.
Strong understanding of software architecture principles.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Soft Skills

Curious and open to learning new technologies.
Nice to Have
Experience with payment systems and financial integrations.
