We are looking for a
Junior Operations Specialist
to join our expanding Operations Team for our key partner in Canada - a leading logistics provider. This role is a fantastic launchpad into Cloud and DevOps engineering. You will play a crucial role in providing 24/7 monitoring and operational support to ensure the seamless functionality, reliability, and scalability of high-load systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability across Azure cloud services, applications, and APIs.
Track and identify anomalies in real-time using Azure Monitor, Datadog, Splunk, and Sentinel following defined instructions.
Diagnose and resolve incidents efficiently according to pre-defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Triage and escalate complex, non-standard issues to senior engineering teams.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of systems, workflows, and incident logs.
Theoretical knowledge or hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure Fundamentals level or similar coursework).
Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs) and Windows.
Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Splunk, Azure Monitor, Application Insights) is highly preferred.
Knowledge of incident management processes and ticketing tools (Atlassian Jira, ServiceNow, etc.).
English level B1+ (strong written communication is essential for ticketing and documentation).
Readiness to work in shifts (including night shifts and weekends to cover 24/7 operations).
