About the role

We are looking for a Junior+ Full-stack Developer to join the team and help us build and improve our ed-tech platform.
You will work on end-to-end features, including frontend improvements, backend changes, and working with existing data models.
This role includes close collaboration with the client, so strong ownership and communication skills are important. We are looking for someone who can ask the right questions, investigate solutions, suggest improvements, and take ownership of delivering features end-to-end.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable owning small-to-medium features independently and can learn new technologies when needed.

English level: B1+ or higher is required for daily communication with the client and team.

Responsibilities
Develop new features and improve existing functionality
Build UI components and user flows using React
Implement and update backend APIs and business logic
Work with databases: retrieve, update, and manage application data
Collaborate with the designer, developers, and the client
Investigate bugs and provide technical solutions

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript
Experience with React
Good experience with Node.js backend development
Understanding of REST APIs and/or GraphQL
Ability to read existing code and independently investigate issues

Nice to have
Experience with GraphQL (Apollo Client / Apollo Server)
Experience with ORMs (Drizzle, Prisma, etc.)
Experience with Redis or background jobs (BullMQ)
