The project is a data-driven platform for a well-established international client in the financial services domain. The platform helps internal teams work with large volumes of structured and unstructured data, supporting analytics, data processing, and business decision-making.
The product is a data system that includes dynamic user-facing functionality, APIs, cloud services, and features that help users interact with complex financial and analytical data in a more efficient way.
About the role:
We are looking for a Full-stack Node.js Engineer with a strong backend focus to help build scalable, API-driven services and product features.
The role is mainly focused on Node.js backend development, AWS-based services, PostgreSQL database work, and end-to-end feature ownership. Frontend experience is also important, as the engineer should be comfortable working with modern frontend frameworks and understanding how backend decisions affect the user experience.
Requirements:
Must have:
5+ years
of professional software engineering experience
Strong hands-on experience with
Node.js backend
development
Experience building
REST APIs, services, or microservices
Strong
SQL
knowledge and hands-on experience with
PostgreSQL
Practical experience with
AWS
services such as Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, and API Gateway
Experience with at least one modern
frontend framework:
React, Vue, or Angular
Experience owning features end-to-end, from requirements and implementation to release
Good understanding of scalable, maintainable, cloud-native application architecture
Ability to work in an international team and communicate clearly in English
Nice to have:
Exposure to AI/ML-related product features or data-driven functionality
Experience working with data extraction, data processing, or analytics-related products
Experience in financial services, consulting, investment,
or enterprise technology projects
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Experience with performance optimization and database query tuning
Previous experience building internal platforms, dashboards, workflow tools, or user-facing business applications
