Senior Databricks Data Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Databricks Data Engineer to design, build, and modernize large-scale data platforms. This role combines deep hands-on engineering with strategic ownership of data platform initiatives, migration projects, and cross-functional collaboration in a cloud-native environment.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data models.
Lead and support large-scale data platform modernization and migration initiatives.
Develop solutions using Databricks, AWS, and cloud-native technologies.
Leverage LLM-powered tools for code translation and migration automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Optimize data platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
Communicate technical solutions and project progress to stakeholders.
Requirements (Must-Have)
5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
Strong practical experience with Databricks.
3+ years of experience building or migrating large corporate data platforms.
Experience using LLM-powered tools for code translation or migration automation.
Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud providers.
Solid data modeling skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
EU citizen, working from within the EU.
