Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
LOCATION:
Ukraine (remote), Poland (remote), Uzbekistan (hybrid)
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Our client is an established global technology company specializing in design and engineering software solutions. Their products are used by professionals across multiple industries to design, visualize, and simulate ideas before they are physically built or produced. The company’s solutions support a wide range of user - from large enterprises to individual creators - and are accessible across desktop and mobile platforms.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of experience as Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
EDUCATION:
BS or MS in Math, Computer Science, Engineering
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong knowledge of SDLC and QA methodologies
Background in both manual and automated testing of desktop, mobile, cloud-based and web applications including end-to-end and API testing
Extensive knowledge of test methodologies, including creating test plans, mock data/services, writing test cases, debugging and testing
Hands-on practice developing and maintaining automated tests in JavaScript/TypeScript and C#
Demonstrated ability to develop scalable automation frameworks using tools like Cypress, Playwright, or similar
Practical knowledge of creating and maintaining test automation documentation
Proficient in Visual Studio Code (VS Code) for test automation
Working knowledge of databases
Applied experience using AI tools (GitHub Copilot etc.)
Experience in setting up a test engine and QA infrastructure into the system from scratch
Strong experience with bug tracking systems and management systems (Jira, Redmine, TestRail, TestIM)
Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment
Upper-intermediate+ level of English
NICE TO HAVE:
Familiarity with CAD applications or CAD and AEC design software
Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman, and experience with API automation using tools like Blazemeter or similar
Self-starter, able to quickly ramp up on new applications, technologies, and processes, and take ownership of service quality
DUTIES:
Lead and carry out routine manual and automation QA tasks according to company QA procedures
Set up and establish a testing pipeline and QA infrastructure from scratch, including frameworks, tooling, and reporting systems.
Plan and estimate QA efforts on typical projects
Identifying and creating reusable test data, methods, and frameworks
Provide accurate and complete testing on clients’ projects
Research, learn, and practice new testing methodologies, techniques, and skills
Break down major tasks into smaller subtasks
Work with cross-team product owners, developers and other test engineers to support the current
QA processes
Organize and participate in team and client meetings.
Report on statuses, progress, and concerns of clients.
Leverage AI tools to accelerate test development and improve overall testing efficiency
Demonstrate strong cross-cultural communication skills when collaborating with international stakeholders and distributed teams
