Playwright
Perform manual testing for functional, regression, and exploratory scenarios
Build and maintain a scalable regression testing framework that can be reused across multiple projects
Write and execute test plans, test cases, and test reports with clarity and precision
Conduct
API testing
to validate backend services and integrations
Integrate automated tests into
CI/CD pipelines
(Azure DevOps, GitHub)
Collaborate closely with development teams to embed quality early in the development cycle — shift-left mindset
Track, log, and verify defects using
ADO / Jira
; follow issues through to resolution
Contribute to test strategy and coverage decisions across projects
Maintain clear documentation of test frameworks, coverage, and known gaps
Communicate test results, risks, and blockers clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in QA automation and/or software testing
Hands-on experience with
Playwright
(TypeScript or Python preferred)
Solid understanding of
manual testing
methodologies — functional, regression, exploratory
Experience with
API testing
tools and concepts (REST)
Familiarity with
.NET and/or Angular
application architectures
Experience working with
Azure DevOps, Jira,
and/or
GitHub
Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment with minimal hand-holding
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — able to understand complex systems and identify what matters to test
Strong written and spoken English
— you will communicate directly with enterprise clients and cross-functional teams
Excellent attention to detail and a genuine ownership mentality
Nice to Have
Experience using
AI tools
(coding assistants, AI agents) to accelerate test case generation and maintenance
Exposure to
security testing
concepts or working alongside pen testing teams
Experience with performance or load testing
Background in full-stack development or strong scripting skills
What You'll Be Working On (Initially)
The immediate focus is regression testing for a major platform upgrade — covering a penetration testing, security scans, .NET backend migration, Angular UI update, library upgrades, and integration validation — before expanding coverage across other infologiQ projects.
