Your expertise:
6+ years of experience in software development
Strong experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
Solid backend expertise with Node.js
Proven experience working in microservices architectures
Strong understanding of distributed systems principles
Experience with REST APIs and real-time communication (WebSockets)
Experience with message queues or event brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, NATS)
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
Good understanding of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Experience with containerized environments (Docker)
Solid understanding of web security concepts (HTTPS, TLS, certificates, authentication)
Experience mentoring engineers and supporting their professional growth
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical decisions to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to facilitate technical discussions and drive alignment across teams
Experience participating in hiring and technical interviews
Strong sense of ownership and accountability
Strong problem-solving and architectural thinking skills

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

As a Technical Leader of a dedicated development team working in an Agile environment, your responsibilities include:
Delivering business value through code and systems by building an AWS-hosted, Docker-based, and microservice-oriented product
Solving both existing and new user issues and implementing new business opportunities
Managing technical debt and responding to production incidents
Writing code, creating unit and functional tests, conducting code reviews, designing architecture, and analyzing and estimating user stories
Applying best practices of SOLID and CI /
CD-based
development workflows
Preparing technical solutions using appropriate tools and practices, and presenting them to both your team and Product Management
Being involved in all product evolution processes
Organizing development processes based on personal experience and general best practices

The team develops and maintains the SSL product distributed across Namecheap, Spaceship, and a dedicated SSL-specific website.
The product includes all systems and components supporting the SSL certificate life cycle. The team continuously improves existing services, refactors legacy code, and implements new features such as two-click SSL installation. It also maintains and extends internal and external API integrations and develops both backend and frontend components focused on simplifying certificate management and improving user experience.
The team collaborates with Architects, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering to ensure smooth integration within the broader ecosystem.
