Senior Google Ads Manager (Ecommerce)
About the Role
We’re looking for a senior Google Ads specialist to manage, optimise, and scale paid campaigns for ecommerce clients, with a strong focus on profitable growth and measurable performance. You’ll own campaigns end to end, from structure and strategy through to reporting, across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen and YouTube.
Responsibilities
Build, manage, and scale Google Ads campaigns for ecommerce clients across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen, and YouTube
Conduct keyword research and write high performing ad copy for product and category level campaigns
Develop and implement bidding, targeting, and audience strategies tied to ROAS and margin targets
Manage Google Merchant Center accounts, including product feed optimisation, feed rules, and troubleshooting disapprovals
Monitor conversion tracking, attribution, and account structure for accuracy across product catalogues
Run A/B tests and use results to guide optimisation decisions
Analyse performance data to identify opportunities for profitable growth, including product level and SKU level insights
Prepare clear, accurate performance reports for internal and client review
Collaborate with internal teams and communicate directly with clients on performance updates and strategy
Qualifications
5+ years experience managing Google Ads campaigns specifically for ecommerce brands
Proven track record managing Shopping and Performance Max campaigns with product feeds of meaningful scale (hundreds to thousands of SKUs)
Demonstrated experience managing Demand Gen and YouTube campaigns for ecommerce or retail clients
Advanced knowledge of Google Merchant Center, including feed optimisation, supplemental feeds, and troubleshooting
Strong understanding of ecommerce metrics: ROAS, CPA, AOV, and margin based bidding
Strong analytical skills, with experience in A/B testing and performance measurement
Solid understanding of attribution models, conversion tracking, and data driven decision making across the customer journey
Experience managing multiple ecommerce client accounts at once
Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting performance to clients
Proactive, accountable, and focused on measurable results
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications preferred
