We are looking for a WordPress Developer with SEO experience to work in a product company.
Job Type:
Remote, Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of the web infrastructure supporting marketing activities across multiple projects.
Develop, customize, and maintain websites built on WordPress, ensuring stability, security, and consistent performance across different devices and browsers.
Work closely with product, marketing, and growth teams to run experiments (A/B tests), improve loading speed, and enhance SEO performance.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, including layout inconsistencies and functional bugs.
Participate in regular team syncs and manage tasks within a project management environment to stay aligned with timelines.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the webmaster, to ensure alignment on technical decisions.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of WordPress ecosystem, including PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL.
Experience working with design tools such as Figma and ability to accurately implement UI designs.
Hands-on experience with WordPress theme and plugin development, including working with custom fields (ACF), custom post types, hooks, and filters.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Solid troubleshooting skills — ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues, plugin conflicts, and responsive design problems.
Understanding of SEO best practices, including technical SEO, site structure, and performance optimization.
Experience with A/B testing and optimizing user journeys based on data insights.
Nice to have:
Experience with React
Familiarity with tools like VWO or similar experimentation platforms
Languages Required
