Google Ads Campaign Manager
Remote · Full-time / Contract
About the role
A marketing agency working in subscription/creator-platform traffic is looking for a Google Ads Campaign Manager. This is a restricted, closely-reviewed vertical — it's not a standard "launch keywords, optimize CPA" role. You'll own paid search end to end: getting new accounts live and stable, keeping them compliant with Google's advertising policies for sensitive categories, and scaling spend once accounts have proven durable.
What you'll do
Set up and manage Google Ads accounts in restricted/sensitive verticals (subscription platforms, creator/dating-adjacent traffic), prioritizing account longevity over short-term volume
Build keyword, ad group, and bid structures around real user intent rather than broad targeting that invites review
Monitor search terms daily, add negatives, restructure keyword/ad pairs to keep traffic quality high and policy risk low
Roll out spend in stages: prove stability first, scale once the data supports it
Work with the web and creative team so landing pages, ad copy, and account structure stay within Google's policies for the vertical (age-gating, disclaimers, appropriate wording and imagery)
Set up and monitor conversion tracking/postbacks so decisions run on real funnel data, not clicks and impressions
Manage multiple accounts, domains, and agency-level structures — flag risk signals before they trigger suspension
Report clearly on account health (Stage 1: stability) and performance (Stage 2: traffic quality, cost per result, profitability)
Requirements
Proven experience running Google Ads in restricted or closely-reviewed verticals (dating, gambling, adult-adjacent, or similar)
Deep, current knowledge of Google's advertising policies for sensitive categories, with a track record of accounts that stay live
Experience managing multiple ad accounts, domains, and agency account structures
Confident with conversion tracking and postback setup; able to read funnel data beyond the Ads dashboard
Methodical approach to scaling — account stability first, volume second
Strong communication: straight, data-backed updates on what's working and what isn't
Discretion and professionalism working with sensitive/adult-adjacent content
Nice to have
Other paid channels in restricted verticals (Bing/Microsoft Ads, native networks, affiliate traffic)
Tracking/attribution tools, server-side postback setups
Direct experience with subscription/creator-economy platforms
How to apply
Send examples of restricted-vertical accounts you've managed (no NDA breaches), the results you drove, and how you approached account stability and policy compliance.
