Join a Canadian fintech and banking project as a Junior Java Developer (Production Support).
No commercial experience is required-just a solid understanding of Java and a willingness to learn.
Remote, full-time
Working schedule:
Mon, Wed, Thur, Sat 08:00–16:30 Kyiv time
OR
Tue, Fr, Sun 08:00–16:30 Kyiv time

Requirements
Good knowledge of Java Core and object-oriented programming.
Basic understanding of Spring Boot and REST APIs.
Familiarity with SQL and Git.
Basic knowledge of Linux and the ability to read application logs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
English level: Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher.

Responsibilities
Monitor production systems and respond to alerts using Datadog and PagerDuty.
Investigate production incidents and perform initial troubleshooting.
Analyse application and infrastructure logs in AWS CloudWatch.
Escalate issues to Development or DevOps teams when needed.
Create and update tickets in ServiceNow.
Configure and maintain dashboards, monitors, and alerts in Datadog.
Document incident resolutions and update the internal knowledge base.
Participate in shift handovers and post-incident reviews.
Collaborate with Java Developers, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure system stability.
