Go Backend Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain
robust API integrations
with crypto exchanges and payment processors:
WhiteBIT
Kraken
Wallester
(card issuing & payment infrastructure)
Other providers (Binance, Coinbase, Bybit, MoonPay, Ramp, Sardine, etc.)
Develop reliable
order execution, balance syncing, webhook handling, and fund movement flows
.
Build internal services for
trade aggregation, liquidity management, fee calculation, and risk monitoring
.
Implement
secure credential management, rate limiting, retry logic, and circuit breakers
for external APIs.
Ensure high availability, low latency, and auditability of all financial integrations.
Work closely with the card issuing team, frontend, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end crypto spending experience.
Write comprehensive tests, monitoring, and alerting for integration health.
Requirements
Strong experience with Go
(Golang) — minimum 3+ years of production backend development.
Solid understanding of
REST and WebSocket APIs
, JSON processing, and asynchronous programming.
Previous experience integrating with
crypto exchanges
(especially WhiteBIT, Kraken, or similar) is a big plus.
Experience with
payment processors or card issuing platforms
(Wallester, Stripe, Visa, etc.) is highly desirable.
Knowledge of security best practices: API key management, encryption, secure storage (Hashicorp Vault, etc.).
Comfortable working with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka/NATS, and Docker/Kubernetes environments.
Understanding of crypto fundamentals (wallets, trading pairs, order books, on-chain vs off-chain operations).
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with
Go microservices
architecture and event-driven systems.
Familiarity with financial regulations (KYC/AML, PCI-DSS).
Knowledge of Web3 libraries or blockchain interaction (Ethereum, Solana, etc.).
Experience building high-throughput trading or fintech systems.
