Golang Tech Lead
to drive the development of scalable backend systems and lead technical initiatives within the engineering team.
What you’ll be doing
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend services using Golang;
Drive architectural decisions and ensure high-performance, reliable, and maintainable system design;
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver business requirements;
Mentor and support engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and best engineering practices;
Participate in technical planning, estimation, and decomposition of complex tasks;
Improve system scalability, observability, security, and overall performance;
Contribute to the development of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
You have these superpowers
At least 5 years of experience with Golang, including web server development, concurrency, and context handling;
Proven experience leading engineering teams or driving technical initiatives in a Tech Lead / Senior Engineer capacity;
Strong experience designing and building microservices and distributed systems
Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases, including understanding indexes, transactions, and query optimization;
Solid knowledge of design patterns, clean architecture principles, and SOLID design;
Experience with MongoDB, MySQL/PostgreSQL;
Knowledge of Queuing systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka;
Familiarity with Redis;
Highload systems, including database locks, concurrency, isolation levels, and replication;
Familiarity with SOA/Microservices architecture and REST API development;
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to work;
Intermediate level of English or higher.
