We’re now hiring an
AWS Developer with strong backend knowledge
to take ownership of the cloud infrastructure and backend systems that power EagleSense (80% of your time), while also contributing to smaller-scale payments-related products built by Payment’s Lab (20% of your time).
What You’ll Do
For EagleSense (80%):
Cloud Infrastructure Ownership:
Design, implement and maintain our AWS infrastructure and solve cloud-related business challenges.
Service Management:
Set up, monitor, and optimize services like AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, SQS, Redshift, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, QuickSight, etc.
Backend Engineering:
Build, optimize, and maintain backend code (Golang).
Develop ETL pipelines and client-facing dashboards.
Design secure, scalable APIs that integrate multiple data sources and support streaming data.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Together with the product and data science teams, translate requirements into infrastructure and backend solutions.
Scalability & Performance:
Ensure infrastructure is secure, highly available, and production-ready.
Client Interaction:
Participate in client calls and clearly explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
For Payments Lab (20%):
Support backend development for smaller fintech payment products.
Assist the development team at the planning and review stages.
Configure solutions using existing modules (login, API integration, tokenization, access management, etc).
Handle occasional security-related infrastructure and architecture tasks.
Apply and maintain best security practices across APIs, identity/access control, and data flows, ensuring fintech-grade protection from day one.
What We’re Looking For
Technical Expertise
Strong experience with AWS services (Lambda, SQS, S3, EC2, Redshift, DynamoDB, etc.).
Proficiency in
Go (Golang)
for backend development and scripting.
Experience with real-time data pipelines and event-driven architectures.
Proven ability to build and maintain APIs and backend systems for web-based products.
Experience collaborating with data science teams and supporting data-driven products.
Understanding of production-level infrastructure and best practices for scalability, security, and performance.
(optional) Experience in fintech or payments is a strong advantage.
