Sumix
is a leading company in end-face testing equipment for fiber-optic connectors. We are developing opto-electronic devices for fiber-optic connector end-face measurement and visual inspection. We are seeking for a talented Metrology Engineer to engage in our existing and new projects.
Responsibilities and Duties
Performing tests and measurements using existing measurement equipment
Development and updating of product quality control documentation
Evaluation of measurement errors
Input control for spare parts
Validate and troubleshoot devices through different development stages, and prepare related reports
Work closely with other engineering groups and production (i.e. software/electronic/mechanical/firmware development)
Write required documentation and reports about experiments
Collaborate with the team-members on the problem-solving process
Qualification and Skills
Ability to identify failures of measurement equipment
Ability to analyze the accuracy of measurement equipment
Ability to make complex measurements and to use different measurement equipment
Good investigative and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Knowledge in statistic and methods of measured data processing
Knowledge of metrological principles and methods for provision quality and accuracy of measurement equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Good skills with Office package
Good written and verbal English skills
