About the Company
We are a technology company that develops and manufactures high-precision optical microscopes for quality inspection of fiber optic connections. Our products are used by customers worldwide.
We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer who will be responsible for preparing technical documentation for the U.S. market and global users.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and updating technical documentation in English for international users for devices and software: User Guides, Manuals, Calibration & Maintenance Instructions, Technical Specifications, datasheets, brochures, etc.
Preparing video tutorials for instruments and accessories (script writing, shooting a video, coordinating with a designer for editing)
Interaction with the sales team, technical support team, engineers, testers, software developers, and the production team to gather technical information
Structuring technical information into clear, logical, and user-friendly texts
Keeping documentation up-to-date
Preparing documentation for product certification (CE, FCC etc. — if a need appears)
Assistance with marketing texts and website updates when needed (updating accessories, FAQs, news, etc.)
Participation in technical support when needed
Requirements
2–3+
years of experience in preparing documentation in English for international markets
Advanced written English (C1)
Understanding of technical documentation structure
Experience with documentation and visualization tools (e.g., Adobe RoboHelp), ability to create visual content
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and responsibility
