We are seeking a
Senior Ruby Developer
to join our team and work on complex web applications while focusing on backend development.
Please note that remote work is available only for candidates based in Ukraine.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails
Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration
Write efficient and maintainable code with Ruby v3.5 and Rails 7 frameworks
Design optimized database solutions using PostgreSQL
Utilize GitLab for version control and Jenkins for continuous integration
Contribute to scrum processes and participate in agile development practices
Apply strong self-organization skills to meet deadlines and priorities
Ensure high-quality application performance and scalability
Work effectively with containerization tools like Docker
Requirements
5 to 8 years of experience as a senior developer
Solid background in Ruby v3.5, Rails 7, and PostgreSQL
Skills in React for front-end integration
Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and containerization tools
Proficiency in GitLab and Jenkins technologies
Understanding of scrum processes and agile workflows
Excellent communication skills in English (B2+)
Nice to have
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes concepts
Background in AWS configuration and deployment
