REQUIREMENTS
Experience & Core QA Skills
5+ years of QA experience focused on manual testing
Strong in test design, execution, and exploratory testing
Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC
Experience with functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
Strong at identifying edge cases, usability issues, and risk areas
Attention to UI/UX consistency, ability to perform detailed UI/UX validations against design requirements
API, System & Data Testing
Experience testing REST and/or GraphQL APIs (e.g., Postman)
Ability to validate data integrity, integrations, and end-to-end workflows
Experience with database validation and data consistency checks
Strong system thinking across distributed components
Release, CI/CD & Non-Functional Awareness
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release cycles
Experience supporting smoke/regression testing in staging environments
Basic understanding of performance (load, scalability) and security risks (OWASP concepts)
Healthcare / Regulated Systems (Preferred)
Experience with HIPAA-compliant or healthcare applications
Familiarity with clinical workflows and medical terminology
Exposure to pharmaceutical or patient data systems
Experience validating audit trails, compliance, and reporting
Knowledge of HL7 / FHIR standards
Mathematical & Clinical Validation
Ability to test complex calculations, algorithms, and data logic
Experience validating statistical or clinical decision systems
Strong attention to edge cases in medical/clinical scenarios
Comfort validating dosing logic or scientific computations
Nice to Have
Experience with AI/ML or decision-support systems
Background in clinical trials or pharma QA
Knowledge of health domains (nutrition, endocrinology, etc.)
Accessibility testing (WCAG)
Exposure to chaos/fault injection testing
Telemedicine or digital health experience
Familiarity with BDD or structured exploratory testing
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and execute manual test cases, test plans, and exploratory testing across functional, regression, integration, and UAT areas
Validate web applications, APIs (REST/GraphQL), and end-to-end workflows, ensuring correct data flow and system behavior
Perform database testing to verify data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems
Execute smoke and regression testing during release cycles in staging and production-like environments
Identify, document, and track defects, edge cases, and system risks with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis
Collaborate with engineering and product teams throughout the SDLC/STLC to ensure product quality
Support testing within CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery processes
Assess and report potential performance and security risks during testing activities
Validate complex business logic, calculations, and data-driven or clinical scenarios, including edge cases
Domain-Specific Responsibilities (Where Applicable)
Validate systems in healthcare or regulated environments, ensuring compliance with standards and requirements
Test and verify audit trails, compliance data, and healthcare interoperability standards (HL7/FHIR)
Support testing of AI/ML systems, telemedicine platforms, and health-tech applications
Additional QA Responsibilities
Conduct accessibility testing (WCAG compliance) to ensure an inclusive user experience
Improve test coverage through structured exploratory testing techniques
Apply structured thinking approaches (e.g., BDD-style scenarios where relevant) to improve clarity of test coverage
