Description
We’re building a new team focused on SSIO - a product aimed at simplifying and speeding up integration onboarding.
Right now, onboarding can take weeks and involve a lot of manual support. The goal is to turn that into a self-service experience that takes hours instead. You’ll be working on flows that guide users through integrations, help them fix issues, and reduce the need for human intervention.
Tech stack
Frontend:
React
Backend:
Java (21+) or Scala
APIs:
REST
Cloud:
AWS (ECS, S3, API Gateway, Lambda)
Database:
PostgreSQL
What you’ll work on
Building self-service onboarding flows for integrations
Creating UI that helps users understand and fix integration issues
Designing and integrating APIs that support onboarding workflows
Improving how errors and system feedback are presented to users
Contributing to both frontend and backend development
What we’re looking for
At least 4 years of commercial experience
Solid experience building production UIs with
React
Experience designing and integrating
REST APIs
Backend development experience with
Java or Scala
Working knowledge of
PostgreSQL
Familiarity with
AWS core services
Understanding of
testing practices (TDD or similar)
Strong communication skills - you’ll be building flows that “communicate” with users through the product
Nice to have:
Exposure to
EDI / B2B messaging concepts
Engineering Practices
Experience working in agile / scrum teams with two-week sprint cadence
Strong communication skills for async team collaboration – Slack
Comfort working asynchronously across time zones with distributed teams
Proficiency with GitHub — branching, pull requests, code review workflows
Familiarity with cloud-native deployment patterns
AI-Assisted Development
Strong hands-on experience using Claude AI or GitHub Copilot for software development tasks
Proven ability to leverage AI for frontend development, backend development, and test authorship
Experience integrating AI-assisted development workflows into engineering processes
Familiarity with prompt engineering practices for code generation and review
