Requirements
— 2+ years of work experience in testing web-applications (e-commerce as a plus)
— A clear understanding of the work principles of the protocols such as HTTP(S), FTP,
SSH; client-server architecture
— 2+ years of experience with Restful API testing (Testing without the user interface,
SPA testing)
— Experience with: Postman, Swagger, Fiddler, JSON Schema, Swagger Schema
— Basic knowledge of programming language (JavaScript)
— Experience with automated testing systems (Mocha, Chai)
— Understanding and good skills with SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN, UPDATE)
— Experience of the testing data in the format: XML, CSV, JSON
— Functional, regression, usability, GUI testing, Big data testing
— Able to prioritize work activities and identify risks to quality or timelines
— Knowledge of software development life cycle and software development
methodologies understanding
— Strong knowledge of testing processes
— Solid exploratory testing skills and knowledge to apply the right level of testing for
specific features.
— Experience with AI-powered tools for test automation (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to automate tests creation and maintenance, analyze code, and improve test coverage.
— Knowing and understanding test design techniques
— Good QA theory knowledge
— Requirements reviewing and analysis
— Basic knowledge of Linux commands, VPN, GIT
— English — B1
Responsibilities
— Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for REST API testing using tools
like Postman, Insomnia, or similar frameworks
— Perform exploratory and manual testing where automation is not feasible or requires
validation.
— Identify test scenarios for complex workflows that might require a human perspective
— Perform sanity checks and validations on datasets
— Participate in requirement reviews to identify potential gaps or ambiguities
— Work closely with developers, product owner, and other team members to deliver
valuable work to stakeholders
Will be a plus
— Basic knowledge of programming language (PHP, Python, Go)
— Understanding of AI models, how they work and how they are trained
— Experience of testing AI functionality (flow, pipelines, how to test models and agents,
quality metrics)
— Experience with PHPUnit, Codeception
— B.S./M.S. at the computer or relevant IT sciences
