Outstaff Hiring: Remote — Contract (Full-time, long-term)
About the Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong manual testing experience and some exposure to automation.
You will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure features, integrations, and releases meet high quality standards before going live. This is a hands-on role with a focus on manual and exploratory testing, with an opportunity to grow automation skills over time.
What You’ll Do
Perform manual, exploratory, and regression testing across web apps and APIs
Create clear and structured test cases based on requirements
Test new features, enhancements, and bug fixes before release
Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools
Validate integrations with third-party services
Log and track defects in Jira with clear steps and documentation
Work closely with developers to resolve issues
Support test automation efforts where possible
Improve QA processes and test coverage
Requirements
3–5
years of QA / software testing experience
Strong manual testing experience (web applications)
Experience with API testing (Postman or similar)
Ability to write clear test cases and documentation
Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams
Familiarity with Jira or similar tools
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
English: good spoken and written
Nice to Have
Experience with automation tools (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium)
Basic JavaScript or scripting knowledge
SQL knowledge for data validation
SaaS or multi-tenant platform experience
Basic understanding of performance testing
Working Setup
Fully remote
Working hours aligned with UK time (±2 hours)
Long-term contract
