We are currently expanding our Automation QA direction and are looking for a strong
AI-native Lead Automation QA Engineer
to help us build quality as a system — not just a process.
About the Role
We are looking for an
AI-native Lead Automation QA Engineer
with a strong hands-on mindset.
This is a technical leadership role. You will spend most of your time building and evolving automation systems while helping define how quality is built and implemented across projects.
As a key engineer in this direction, you will establish the foundations: frameworks, standards, quality criteria, and engineering practices. You will work directly with the CTO to shape the Automation QA direction and scale it as the team grows.
This is not a coordination role. We expect deep technical contribution, ownership, and leadership through hands-on work.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Execution
Design and develop automated UI, API, integration, and system-level tests
Build, maintain, and evolve automation frameworks
Write scalable, maintainable automation code (production-level quality)
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Validate system behavior across services, APIs, and databases
Analyze system behavior and identify root causes of defects
Architecture & Quality Strategy
Define and own automation architecture
Establish and evolve the test pyramid and coverage strategy
Define and enforce quality gates aligned with product priorities
Define and measure quality criteria and quality metrics
Set up dashboards providing an overview of overall quality across all deployed products and services (tracking strategically relevant KPIs)
Implement pipelines for static code analysis of developed solutions and detection of weak points
Develop automated penetration testing for fully deployed systems
Identify systemic quality risks and drive engineering-level solutions
Leadership & Influence
Define automation standards and best practices
Drive adoption of automation practices across teams
Review automation code and enforce engineering standards
Mentor engineers and support QA team growth
Participate in hiring and scaling the QA function
AI-Native Approach
Use AI tools to accelerate test design, generation, and maintenance
Set up AI pipelines for automated UI and UX testing based on requirements
Continuously evaluate and introduce AI-enabled approaches
Ensure AI-generated outputs meet production-level standards
Requirements
4+ years of strong hands-on automation experience
Strong programming skills for automation development
Experience with UI automation frameworks
Solid experience in REST API testing
Strong understanding of CI/CD integration
Experience with performance testing
Experience working in Linux environments
Solid understanding of OOP and clean code practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with high ownership in ambiguous environments
Nice to Have
Experience with Docker / containerized environments
Experience with contract testing
Experience with distributed or enterprise-level systems
Experience with static code analysis tools
Experience with security or penetration testing

Work Format
This is a full-time role. We expect full professional commitment and focus on Top Netics projects.
