Requirements:
Experience: At least 1.5 years of experience in manual and automation testing of modern web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Java
Automation Stack: Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for UI end-to-end test automation using JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience with Selenium-based automation using Java is also a plus
UI Testing Expertise: Solid understanding of UI/UX testing principles, cross-browser testing, responsive testing, and validation of complex user flows
CI/CD & Build Tools: Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, TeamCity, or similar) for automated test execution. Familiarity with Maven and/or Gradle
Testing Knowledge: Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, regression testing, smoke testing, and exploratory testing
Test Case Development: Experience creating and maintaining effective test cases, checklists, and automated UI test scenarios. Familiarity with TestRail or similar test management tools
Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and understanding of modern frontend application architecture
Communication Skills: Good spoken and written English for effective collaboration within an international team
Monitoring & Debugging: Experience using monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Datadog, Kibana, or OpenSearch for troubleshooting UI and application issues
Version Control: Good knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows
Nice to Have:
Experience with visual regression testing
Experience testing responsive/adaptive web applications
Basic understanding of API testing and network request validation
Experience integrating Playwright tests into CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and browser DevTools
Experience with WireMock or similar mocking tools
Experience with performance testing tools such as Gatling
Responsibilities:
Analysis & Review: Analyze requirements, user stories, UI designs, and technical documentation to define test coverage and identify potential quality risks
UI Test Development: Create and maintain manual and automated UI test scenarios for functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing using Playwright
Automation Implementation: Contribute to the development and improvement of scalable and maintainable Playwright-based UI automation frameworks
Cross-Browser Validation: Ensure stable application behavior across different browsers, devices, and screen resolutions
Reporting: Prepare detailed defect reports, test execution reports, and quality metrics
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, designers, product managers, and QA engineers during sprint planning, refinements, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Quality Assurance: Ensure high product quality through comprehensive validation of new and existing frontend functionality
CI/CD Support: Maintain and monitor automated UI test execution in CI/CD pipelines and investigate failed test runs
Continuous Improvement: Participate in improving QA processes, UI automation approaches, and testing standards within the team
