Role Description:
This is a full-time remote role for a DevOps Engineer. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions to ensure a reliable and scalable development environment.
Key responsibilities:
Support current AWS infrastructure via terraform (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, WAF, Route53, CloudWatch)
Support container orchestration: Nomad, K8s
Maintain configuration management: Puppet
Maintain DBs: SQL — MySQL, NoSQL — Elasticsearch, Redis, MongoDB.
Maintain monitoring and logging: Zabbix, Grafana, ELK.
Hands on scripting: Bash, Python.
Support CI/CD: GitLab.
Hard skills requirements:
Work experience as DevOps at least 5 years;
Experience in building highly loaded, High Availability systems;
Excellent knowledge of Red Hat/CentOS;
Good knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, WAF, CloudWatch, VPC, EBS, Snapshots, SG, etc);
Experience in setting up and using container orchestration systems: Nomad, Kubernetes;
Experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) patterns, principles, and tools (Terraform, Puppet, etc);
Experience in using Docker and understanding of the containerization paradigm;
Experience with Nginx, MySQL, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch;
Skills in working with DNS servers and DNS service providers;
Experience with data backup and recovery systems;
Good level of English language skills (spoken, written).
