About RouteGenie
We’re a SaaS platform for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT). Our software runs dispatching, routing, billing, and fleet management for 700+ transportation providers across the US. We’re migrating from a single-tenant architecture (700+ EC2 instances) to a modern multi-tenant platform — and that’s where you come in.
What you’ll do
— Own our AWS infrastructure: EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, Route 53, ELB
— Manage and improve our Jenkins CI/CD pipelines; roll out blue-green, canary, and rolling deployments
— Write Terraform for everything that should be Infrastructure as Code
— Run monitoring and alerting on CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana, Sentry, and PagerDuty
— Drive down our infrastructure cost (we have aggressive targets)
— Partner with the backend team on the multi-tenant migration — one of the biggest initiatives at the company right now
— Support HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance work (audits, vulnerability scanning, pen tests)
What you bring
3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
— Strong AWS across compute, storage, networking, and security
— Solid Linux sysadmin (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux)
— Terraform or CloudFormation, Jenkins (or similar), Bash and Python scripting
— English good enough for daily written and verbal collaboration with US and EU teammates
Nice to have
— AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
— Kubernetes, ECS, Ansible
— Experience in multi-tenant SaaS or infrastructure cost optimization
— Background in healthcare or transportation SaaS
How we work
— Fully remote, B2B contract (Ukrainian FOP or equivalent)

probation period
— Schedule: Mon—Fri,
9:00–18:00
Kyiv time (with lunch
13:00–14:00),
some flexibility after discussion with your manager
— Ukrainian public holidays observed
What you get
— 20 days of vacation per year (pro-rated for the first year, available after probation)
