On behalf of our Client from the UK, Mobilunity is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer.
Our Client is a fast-growing SaaS company operating in the telecom and subscription billing space. Their platform supports billing operations for telecom providers and service companies, focusing on reliability, scalability, and continuous product growth.
They are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience across the AWS environment. You will work on building new features, improving existing functionality, and supporting integrations across a modern, cloud-oriented platform.
Responsibilities:
CI/CD & Deployment Pipelines
Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, or equivalent tools
Continuously improve deployment reliability, speed, and repeatability
Partner with development teams to standardize deployment processes and ensure environment consistency
Automation & Scripting
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Bash
Eliminate manual processes by implementing scalable automation solutions
Advocate for infrastructure as code and automated workflows
AWS & Hybrid Infrastructure
Operate and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS (ECS, EC2, RDS/Aurora, S3, IAM, VPC)
Support and maintain hybrid environments, including on-premise (data centre) systems
Ensure consistency and reliability across cloud and on-premise workloads
Contribute to infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
Containerization & Runtime Environments
Build and support Docker-based containerized environments
Provide tooling and best practices to enable developers to deploy and manage services efficiently
Support Linux-based environments and container orchestration workflows
Monitoring, Observability & Reliability
Enhance system observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana
Monitor system health, performance, and availability
Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes
Drive improvements in system reliability, scalability, and performance
Security & Compliance
Implement and maintain security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines
Support compliance initiatives and enforce operational standards
Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing to avoid single points of failure
Requirements:
3–6
years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with AWS (ECS, EC2, RDS/Aurora, S3, IAM, VPC)
Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting
Experience with Docker and containerized environments
Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently
Effective communication skills in English, with experience working in distributed teams
Nice to have :
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation)
Exposure to hybrid infrastructure environments (cloud + on-premise)
Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible
Experience working with Node.js environments (e.g., PM2)
Understanding of security and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001)
Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for observability
