Outstaff Hiring: Remote — Contract (Full-time, long-term)
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to support the reliability, scalability, and automation of a growing SaaS platform.
You will focus on building and improving CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and supporting stable environments across cloud and hybrid setups. This role requires strong ownership and a proactive approach to solving problems.
What You’ll Do
Build and improve CI/CD pipelines (AWS or similar)
Automate workflows using Python and shell scripting
Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure (ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC)
Support hybrid environments (cloud + on-premise)
Work with Docker and Linux-based environments
Improve monitoring and observability (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
Troubleshoot incidents and improve system reliability
Apply infrastructure as code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
Collaborate with developers to improve deployment processes
Requirements
3–6
years of DevOps / infrastructure experience
Strong AWS experience (ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC)
Experience building CI/CD pipelines
Strong scripting skills (Python and/or Bash)
Experience with Docker and Linux environments
Good understanding of monitoring and logging
Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
Good communication skills
English: good spoken and written
Nice to Have
Terraform or CloudFormation experience
Experience with hybrid infrastructure
Ansible or similar tools
Familiarity with Node.js environments
Experience with security/compliance (ISO 27001)
Experience with Grafana / Prometheus
Working Setup
Fully remote
Working hours aligned with UK time (±2 hours)
Long-term contract
High ownership, low bureaucracy environment
