Senior Storage Administrator in Email Services (#1158)

Your expertise:
Must have experience with high-load corporate storage systems (design, deployment, tuning, performance assessment, disaster recovery, monitoring)
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Linux / Unix administration (in-depth understanding of Linux internals, software and system architectures)
Experience with any of the distributed storage systems (SDS) and network file systems (e.g., linstor / drbd, ceph, gluster, nfs, StorPool, Nutanix, etc.)
Strong understanding of server hardware (sata / sas / nvme devices, hba / raid controllers, multipath is a must)
Experience with zfs, btrfs or any Copy-on-Write (CoW) file system
Virtualization experience (KVM, VMware etc.)
Containerization experience: LXC, Docker, Kubernetes
Networking:
Good knowledge of OSI Model, TCP / IP protocol suite (IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, SNMP)
IP addressing and subnetting, Routing concepts, SAN / NAS
Switches: Basic Configuration & VLAN setup
Proficiency in any programming or scripting languages (bash / python / golang, etc.)
CI / CD experience (Jenkins, GitlabCI, etc.)
Experience with any of the monitoring systems (icinga, zabbix, nagios, prometheus, etc.)
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, MAAS, etc. for configuration management and provisioning
Experience with storage (CSI) in Kubernetes
Pre-Intermediate or higher level of written English
Will definitely be a plus:
Hands-on experience with LINSTOR and / or DRBD (deployment, resource configuration, replication modes, troubleshooting)
Experience with Dell EMC Unity / Isilon or similar corporate level storage devices
Understanding of real time data encryption, deduplication, and compression
Knowledge of storage security best practices, including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and compliance standards
Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning, and ensuring storage solutions align with project timelines
Understanding of data replication technologies and techniques for high availability and disaster recovery
Experience with cloud-based storage solutions such as Amazon S3, Azure Blob Storage, or Google Cloud Storage
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve storage-related issues efficiently
Knowledge of data lifecycle management, data archiving, and data classification strategies

You will be involved into:
Build distributed on premise storage from scratch including planning of hardware resources, network requirements (in cooperation with NetOps team) for rapidly growing product
Deploy and configure LINSTOR controllers / satellites, DRBD resources, and storage pools
Maintain and monitor servers and storage devices
Ability to write scripts to automate storage-related tasks and maintenance
Plan grow of clients infrastructure
Create and maintain backup plans and disaster recovery procedures
Continuously test and integrate
Create and update documentation
