Middle IT Specialist
Technologies
Description
We are looking for a Middle IT Specialist / Sysadmin to join our team. The person will be responsible for maintaining and improving internal IT infrastructure, administering Jira and Microsoft 365, building automations using scripts and no-code platforms, managing IAM systems, and supporting the Zoho ecosystem.
This role supports and develops the company’s internal IT infrastructure with a strong focus on automation, tooling, and process optimization. The specialist will take ownership of the Atlassian and Microsoft 365 ecosystem, scripting, no-code/low-code integrations, and general sysadmin tasks, with a clear growth path toward the business automation team.
We consider candidates from Ivano-Frankivsk (preferably) and Lviv, Kyiv only.
Requirements:
1–3
years of hands-on experience in IT support, sysadmin, or a similar role
Experience working with Atlassian tools
(Jira, Confluence) — workflows, permissions, custom configurations
Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 —
user and license management, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID (Azure AD), and related services
Hands-on automation experience: scripting
(Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
and no-code/low-code platforms
(Power Automate, Make, Zapier, or similar)
Basic understanding of REST APIs and webhooks for integration tasks
Strong self-organization and ability to prioritize across multiple concurrent tasks
Good communication skills — able to explain technical things to non-technical people clearly
Genuine interest in business process improvement, not just IT operations
At least
Intermediate English level
Nice to have:
Working knowledge of Git (Bitbucket or GitLab) — repository management, access control, branching basics
Familiarity with the Zoho ecosystem is a strong plus
Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment: user lifecycle management, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID (Azure AD), and security configurations
Work with the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence): workflows, user management, and integrations
Build and maintain automation scripts (Python or PowerShell) and no-code/low-code workflows (Power Automate or similar)
Provide IT support to internal teams and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Document processes, configurations, and solutions in Document Management System
Proactively identify opportunities to automate or streamline existing workflows
Collaborate with the business automation team on cross-functional process improvement initiatives
What we offer:
Annual paid vacation of 18 working days.
Extra vacation days for long-lasting cooperation.
Annual paid sick leave of 10 days.
Maternity/Paternity leave.
The opportunity for sabbatical leave.
Marriage and Parenthood Package.
Compensation for sports activities or health insurance covering (up to 250$ per year) — after the trial period.
Career development plan.
English and Spanish classes.
Paying taxes and managing PE (Private Entrepreneur).
Technical equipment.
Internal Referral program.
Opportunity to take part in company volunteering activities.
Sombra is a “Friendly to Veterans” award-holder.
