About the Project
We are developing next-generation autonomy systems used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Your work will directly impact national defense capabilities and reshape the future of autonomous aerial warfare.
Responsibilities
Design, train, and deploy real-time ML models for:
Visual navigation and SLAM in GPS-denied environments
Real-time object detection, classification, and tracking
Target prioritization and engagement logic
Collaborate closely with hardware, avionics, and control systems teams
Develop simulation and synthetic data pipelines to train and test models
Optimize models for low-latency, low-power embedded hardware
Establish model evaluation, versioning, and deployment workflows
Perform research into cutting-edge applicable technology, signature analysis, signal spoofing resistance, and other
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in applied machine learning or computer vision.
Strong proficiency in C++, Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and ML ops tools
Hands-on experience with real-time inference on edge devices (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, ARM-based platforms, Rockchip)
Familiarity with aerial robotics, autonomous navigation, or defense-related ML systems
Experience with simulation environments (Gazebo, AirSim, CARLA, etc.).
Fluency in designing and implementing data collection strategies for supervised and reinforcement learning
Preferred Qualifications
Master of Science in Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
Experience with sensor fusion (IMU, LiDAR, EO/IR cameras)
Knowledge of electronic warfare countermeasures and resilience techniques
Background in military UAV systems or embedded AI in tactical platforms
