We are seeking an
Engineering Manager
with strong expertise in the Node.js ecosystem to join the team behind a critical security product that provides real-time monitoring, auditing, and alerting for changes across IT infrastructure.
This role focuses on building scalable, high-performance, and reliable systems that enable customers to effectively secure their environments. You’ll take ownership of critical parts of our full-stack architecture, and you will be involved in team building and guiding the team in delivering performant, secure, and scalable solutions.
Your Focus Will Be On:
Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-throughput backend systems using Node.js, .NET and TypeScript.
Building API-first services with REST, GraphQL, gRPC, and OpenAPI specifications.
Architecting microservice-based solutions with clean, modular, and maintainable code.
Developing event-driven systems using Kafka, ClickHouse, and ensuring reliability with idempotent logic and resilience patterns.
Ensuring high system observability using
OpenTelemetry
, distributed tracing, and log aggregation.
Integrating and optimizing Azure-based infrastructure with
Docker
and
Terraform
.
Collaborating with DevOps on API gateways, service versioning, and
CI/CD
pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), using tools like LaunchDarkly for feature flagging.
Enforcing security and performance standards using SonarQube, ESLint, and automated testing tools.
What We’re Looking For:
6+ years of backend and full-stack experience, primarily with Node.js, .NET, TypeScript, and React.
Deep understanding of scalable architecture, performance optimization, and cloud-native development.
Practical experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
Strong API design skills (REST, gRPC, GraphQL) and experience with service orchestration.
Solid TDD/BDD mindset with experience in Jest, Playwright, and E2E testing.
Bonus: Familiarity with shadcn/ui, React Aria, and Tailwind CSS for frontend integration.
