Description
We are looking for a strong Java Tech / Team Lead who combines hands-on development with technical leadership for a team of 4–5 engineers. This is a true 70% hands-on / 30%
leadership role.
The company is building a modern platform that processes real-time market data and helps users make trading decisions based on deep analytics and market insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop backend architecture and APIs
Work with payments, subscriptions, and external integrations
Ensure platform stability and continuous improvements
Participate in system migrations and platform evolution
Mentor and support a small engineering team
Collaborate closely with the CTO and Product team
Requirements:
8+ years of backend development experience (Java + Spring)
2+ years in a Tech Lead / Team Lead role
Strong experience with PostgreSQL and REST APIs
Experience with CI/CD and Docker
Strong understanding of complex distributed systems and integrations
English level B2+
Nice to have:
Experience with Stripe / payments / subscription systems
Knowledge of OAuth2 / Keycloak
Experience with legacy systems or migration projects
Interest in fintech or trading domains
