We are currently looking for a Junior Manual QA Engineer to join projects for our existing and new clients. We are looking for a specialist who can contribute to various web-oriented products depending on business needs and project directions.
The team works in an Agile/Scrum environment with close collaboration between QA engineers, developers, PMs, and stakeholders. We value attention to detail, willingness to grow in software testing, and a collaborative mindset.
Requirements
1+ years of commercial experience
in Manual QA.
Strong theoretical knowledge of software testing fundamentals.
Understanding of SDLC and QA processes.
Experience with web application testing.
Skills in requirements analysis, test design, test case execution, and defect reporting.
Experience working with bug tracking systems (e.g. Jira).
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Basic understanding of client-server architecture and REST API principles.
Ability to communicate effectively with development teams and stakeholders.
English level: Pre-Intermediate or higher.
Responsibilities
Analyze requirements and related documentation for testing purposes.
Participate in daily team activities and Scrum ceremonies.
Collaborate with the team on testing planning and estimations.
Create and maintain test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports).
Perform functional and regression testing of web applications.
Detect, document, verify, and escalate bugs and production issues.
Work closely with developers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders.
Provide feedback regarding product quality and usability.
Assist the team with business and technical insights during testing activities.
Work effectively with debugging and issue investigation processes.
Nice to Have
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
Understanding of browser DevTools.
Experience testing responsive web applications.
Basic SQL knowledge.
