About the project
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join a long-term fintech project for a UK-based client. The product includes both web and mobile applications in the finance and banking domain.
This is a fully remote opportunity with collaboration during UK business hours.
Requirements
3+ years of commercial QA experience
Experience building and improving QA processes from scratch
Hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications (iOS & Android)
Experience with fintech, banking, or payment products
Previous experience leading or mentoring QA engineers
Strong understanding of test design techniques and defect management
Experience with Jira, Confluence, TestRail / Testiny / Qase or similar tools
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Charles, or Proxyman
English level:
Upper-Intermediate (B2)
or higher with confident spoken and written communication
Nice to have
Experience working with UK or EU clients
Understanding of fintech compliance standards and regulations:
PCI DSS
PSD2
KYC / AML
GDPR
Responsibilities
Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications
Own and improve QA processes within the project
Lead and mentor a small QA team
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and the client
Report on product quality, testing progress, risks, and release readiness
