Overview
We’re looking for a senior front-end developer to support our transition toward AI-driven development within the Microsoft ecosystem. This is primarily an
advisory and code review role with selective hands-on support
, project focused on improving code quality, establishing standards, and upskilling developers.
You will work with Power Platform developers who knows the front-end stack but do not code on JS/TS on a daily basis —your role is to elevate their front-end practices to production-grade standards.
What You’ll Do
Review and improve front-end code (React, TypeScript, Fluent UI, HTML/CSS)
Guide development of SPFx solutions, PCF controls, Power Pages components, and Code Apps on Power Platform
Strong familiarity with Node.js-based front-end tooling (npm, build pipelines, bundlers)
Define and enforce front-end standards, patterns, and reusable components
Mentor developers through reviews, sessions, and workshops
Advise on safe and effective use of AI-generated code
Improve CI/CD, code quality, and review processes
Expected Outcomes
Improved code quality and consistency across projects
Clear front-end standards and review practices in place
Developers able to deliver and maintain front-end solutions independently
Reduced technical debt and rework
Requirements (Mandatory)
5+ years front-end development experience with
senior-level responsibility
Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, Fluent UI
Understanding of the
Microsoft stack
(Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint)
Strong experience with
CI/CD pipelines
(Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar)
Proven experience with
accessibility standards (WCAG)
Experience defining standards and improving engineering practices across teams
Good mentoring, communication, and consulting skills
Nice to Have
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (PCF, Power Apps, Power Pages)
Hands-on experience with
SPFx (SharePoint Framework)
Engagement
~5-10 hours per week, flexible involvement expected.
Help the team establish delivery best practises and together define engagement plan
Mix of async code reviews and scheduled advisory session
