We are looking for an experienced
Node.js
Developer to join a cloud-focused engineering team building scalable backend services and modern distributed solutions in Microsoft
Azure
.
In this role, you will work on the development of high-performance APIs, cloud-native applications, and integrations across modern Azure services. The ideal candidate has strong backend expertise with Node.js and TypeScript, experience designing scalable systems, and confidence working in Agile, cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
Build scalable RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
Develop cloud-native solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
Integrate Azure services such as Azure Functions, Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault, and App Services
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design decisions
Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices
Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions
Work closely with stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver business-focused solutions
Requirements
Technical Skills
Experience with Node.js and TypeScript
Experience designing and developing scalable backend systems
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
Experience building REST API services
Good understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases
Experience with Docker and containerized applications
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment processes
Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
Nice to Have
Experience with Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Familiarity with messaging systems and event streaming platforms
Experience with monitoring and observability tools
Exposure to security best practices in cloud environments
Understanding of AI/LLM-based integrations is a plus
