About the Role
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the client’s engineering team and help modernize and automate the infrastructure, deployment, and operational processes behind a large-scale shipping and kiosk platform.
The platform powers self-service shipping kiosks integrated with providers like UPS, FedEx, USPS, PostNL, and La Poste. The environment includes backend services, native Android kiosk applications, Azure cloud infrastructure, and integrations with multiple third-party systems.
You’ll work closely with engineering, QA, product, and operations teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, testing environments, observability, and platform reliability. The role is highly focused on Azure cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, AI-assisted development workflows, and enabling scalable engineering operations.
This role is ideal for a strong hands-on DevOps engineer with deep experience in Azure, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, Kubernetes/serverless environments, monitoring, and modern AI-assisted engineering practices.

What You’ll Do
Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes across environments
Improve release management, deployment consistency, and operational reliability
Build and maintain staging and testing environments for engineering and QA teams
Work with Azure cloud services including Azure Functions, Azure SQL, App Services, monitoring, and serverless infrastructure
Implement infrastructure-as-code and configuration management best practices
Improve platform observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting
Support QA automation environments using tools like Playwright and Selenium
Collaborate with developers to optimize build pipelines and deployment workflows
Help standardize environment management, onboarding, and configuration deployment processes
Work closely with the current operations team during transition to automated infrastructure and CI/CD processes
Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
Contribute to documentation, process diagrams, and operational knowledge transfer
Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Ollama, and Qwen to improve productivity and delivery speed
Support production deployments, incident troubleshooting, and operational improvements
Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering roles
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
Strong understanding of infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code
Experience with Docker, containers, Kubernetes, or serverless architectures
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
Experience supporting production cloud environments and troubleshooting deployments
Good understanding of networking, security, scalability, and high availability concepts
Experience working with SQL databases and backend services
Familiarity with QA automation infrastructure and test environments
Experience working in Agile engineering teams
Strong communication skills and ability to work asynchronously with distributed teams
Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with evolving processes and infrastructure
Experience with AI-assisted engineering workflows is a strong plus
English — Upper-Intermediate or higher

Experience with Android application deployment environments
